Casa de Chá do Faial

The Casa de Chá do Faial, as its name states, began its days as an English Tea House in the year of 1945. After decades of history, the Casa de Chá do Faial is today a graceful restaurant that caters for those looking to sample traditional Madeiran dishes as well as being a place where it is possible to relax and, of course, drink some tea. The menu is comprised of specialities such as vegetable soups, Espada with banana, Espetada and lamb. Vegetables are made up of fresh local produce including sweet potato and yam. The Casa de Chá do Faial has a pleasant indoor dining room and beautiful terraces each of which allow for wonderful views of the surrounding forest lands and mountains.
