Le Jardin

The Restaurante Le Jardin is a long-established restaurant located along the avenue of restaurants in the 'Old Town' area of Funchal. Le Jardin has become a stopping point for mainly faithful visitors to the island of Madeira returning again and again to this Madeiran restaurant. Has a cosy garden-style interior design with garden benches and chairs for seating and a pleasant esplanade where you can relax and observe the surrounding Funchal city life. Specializes in flambé cooking with a large selection of regional fish and meat dishes as well as desserts. Traditional specialties include scabbard-fish, tuna and the regional Espetada among a variety of original dishes such as stroganoff, beef pepper steaks and crêpes.
