Calheta is located between the south and far-west of Madeira Island and is surrounded by the municipalities of Ponta do Sol and Porto Moniz. A simple 25 minute drive from Funchal or a 40 minute drive from the airport will see you in Calheta, one of the island's most loved regions and classified as a getaway location because of its harmonious and tranquil characteristics.
