Restaurante Orca is one of the largest restaurants found in the main village of Porto Moniz. A traditional restaurant mainly characterized by its magnificent views overlooking the natural swimming pools and ocean. Food is simple but well prepared and traditionally Madeiran with a decent selection of fresh fish and meats at affordable prices. Portions are large and meals are accompanied by various side dishes included in the price. Orca is perfect for families and the atmosphere sets the mood for a relaxed and calming eating experience be it during lunchtime or evening.

Visto ser um lugar muito procurado pelos turistas esperava um serviço e qualidade da comida bem melhor do que aquilo que foi apresentado, dão prioridade aos turistas na hora de tomar o pedido, e a comida alguma é preparada na hora, infelizmente a que pedi não foi o caso. Na hora de pagar senti que estava a pagar uma refeição digna de uma estrela Michelin, para o que foi consumido não justificava tal valor. É pena o local tem uma vista muito bonita.

En vacances mais hors voyage organisé. Nous avons bien sur été voir porto moniz, et avons choisi ce restaurant. Service correct, plats très bons, copieux.. Terrasse agréable, même si ça ressemble à une terrasse de café. Nous avons passé un moment agréable. Rapport qualité prix très correct.
