Our recent, third, stay in Funchal was enhanced in no small way by the staff of the Restuarante. The food is very good to excellent, and the wine flows as one would expect. First time in Funchal and was lucky enough to be greeted by the manager, decided to take a table for lunch, waiter greeted us immediately, had drinks and our lunch, we had the fish soup which was superb, followed by grilled sardines and traditional homemade garlic bread. Would highly recommend this restaurant, food is too die for, staff are very friendly and efficient service and your made to feel at home. Dined here four times in the week of our holiday.
