Tokos

Restaurante Tokos is a fine dining restaurant located a short distance from the main hotel strip in the Lido, Funchal. A rustic restaurant within a century-old house with a classical interior and a delightfully colourful flower garden on the exterior. Tokos is small in size and can seat up to a maximum of 30 guests. Menu is À La Carte and comprises a pleasant selection of starters, salads, soups, seafood, fish, meat, poultry, desserts, side orders and sauces that are all fresh and delicately prepared. Depending on the meals of choice, rice, potatoes and vegetables will accompany the dish. Portions are very generous and at times can be shared between two. The wine list is fantastic and includes some of the finest wines Portugal has on store; sparkling wines, Madeira Wine, Port Wine, Rosé Wines, Full-bodied Complex Red and White Wines aged in oak casks, young fruity and velvety Red Wines as well as Vintage Red Wines. Service is of a high standard and efficient. Atmosphere is lively and restaurant host is welcoming and entertaining. Prices are more expensive than other restaurants in the zone but value and quality are assured.
