Casa dos Salgados is a small cabin-like restaurant/coffee bar in a tranquil location off the main road in the parish of Camacha. The Casa dos Salgados serves high quality authentic Portuguese dishes from barbecue-grilled pork, ribs and loin to specialties in Espetada, homemade hotpots, stews, soups, old-style duck rice and the Portuguese Cozido. Desserts consist in fresh fruit locally grown. Provides good selection of regional and Portuguese wines. Interior is very rustic with a warm family atmosphere. Has an esplanade with wonderful mountain views.
